Networx delivers educational and inspirational networking seminar events to people in business, marketing, communication, PR, creative and digital.
Networx is a fun way to meet other communications professionals – while hearing speakers covering a broad range of marketing and business related topics.
Networx is run by events and marketing specialist Brazen Productions. Both businesses share the same founder, Kimberly Palmer.

In Brisbane, Networx's networking events are managed by Iceberg Events, a conference and events management company.
In Sydney, Networx's networking events are managed by Double Edge PR, a PR company.
Networx was launched in 1999 answer to a lack of affordable and relevant networking opportunities for motivated, successful people in the developing stages of their career.
These networking events are held in Sydney and Brisbane, usually on early week nights.
For the evening events, the format is generally social drinks for the first half of the evening and then a presentation by a speaker/s in the second half of the evening. Venues are popular bars and so they offer a great opportunity to catch up with friends or professional acquaintances.
The Networx event feel is professional but not stuffy. They tap into exciting industry talent and trends, utilise groovy venues and basically stand out from other professional events as both fun and functional.
Who Attends
While Networx events were originally targeted at younger people (under 35) working in marketing, advertising, PR and sales, the appeal of the speakers and attendees has broadened the group.
The group now includes many entrepreneurs and business owners and people who are attracted by particular speaker topics, who represent a diverse range of careers, from law to film making.
What Networx attendees have in common is their openness, enthusiasm and keen interest in learning more about their industry and profession – or simply in taking the opportunity to meet potential friends and business contacts.
Sometimes, they are simply people who want to be inspired!
Survey of members
Networx periodically administers surveys to members of the database, including all past attendees.
A snapshot of the results give an indication of who attends NETWORX events.
Age – The group is primarily young and vibrant crowd, with 90% aged 22 – 35.
Gender – 65% of the group are female, 35% are male.
Position – 45% of the group are managers and 12% own their own business.
Industry – 45% – Marketing; 20% – PR; 20% – Events & Sponsorship; 14% – Advertising; 14% – Sales & Account Management; 11% – Promotions; 5% – Recruitment
